As part of the one year anniversary of the beginning of the Walker attack on Wisconsin, hundreds of people showed up in extremely cold winter conditions under a clear blue sky at the State Capitol in Madison to show solidarity and remind the World what has happened in the past year. In keeping with the tradition, it was the kind of winter weather that doesn’t stop those fighting back against the Walker regime. Here was the lineup of today’s event:
Peter Barca, State Assembly Rep.; Mahlon Mitchell, Professional Firefighters of WI; John Nichols, Capital Times & The Nation; Charity Schmidt, UW-Madison TAA; Leland Pan, UW-Madison student government, Ben Manski, Liberty Tree Foundation; and Barbara Vedder, Dane County Board of Supervisors; John Peck, Family Farm Defenders and others will kick off the Week of Action at a mass rally!
