Update on Four Republican State Senators up for Recall, including one of the Fitzgerald Brothers

Not only are Scott Walker and Rebecca Kleefisch up for recall in 2012. There are other four Republican State Senators, elected in 2010, who are facing recall efforts in 2012 as well. Due to being Walker Rubberstampers in the past year, they have only themselves to blame for siding with Walker and attacking the people of Wisconsin with their fanatical loyalty and blind, cowardly obedience. One particular reason why it’s called “Fitzwalkerstan” is the elder State Senator Scott Fitzgerald.

Recall these Walker Rubberstampers who:

  • Voted for ending collective bargaining for public workers and others with Act 10 and the Budget Repair Bill
  • Voted to slash $1.6 billion with public education funding while giving $35 million for private school vouchers for corporate-controlled charter schools
  • Voted for cutting over $500 million in medical assistance such as BadgerCare, which affects the poor, children, seniors and the disabled
  • Voted for raising taxes by $70 million on the people of Wisconsin while giving over $2 billion in tax breaks to Republican corporate donors
  • Voted for massive budget cuts against the University of Wisconsin and tech college systems
  • Voted for gerrymandering-driven redistricting maps that were corrupt and partisan
  • Helped pass the most restrictive voter ID law in the nation based on the myth of voter fraud and disenfranchising voters such as the poor, seniors, minorities, students and others
  • Voted for anti-science legislation and share the simplistic, uneducated view (like Walker) on wanting to stop promising advances in embryonic stem cell research which create jobs
  • Voted against reproductive rights for women and gay rights based on extremist theocratic views
  • Voted for conceal carry legislation that was seen by many in law enforcement who see it making the state more dangerous
  • Voted for anti-environmental legislation that will make Wisconsin natural resources dirtier, more toxic and under attack by corporate polluters
