Walker starts Fox News-fueled “War On Christmas” nonsense with Capitol holiday tree

It’s apparent that Scott Walker is looking for fundraising opportunities for defending his imminent recall in 2012 by playing the “War on Christmas” card (no pun intended) with a press release that mentioned “Christmas tree” six times.

Since 1985, the 30-foot-tall tree in the Wisconsin Capitol rotunda was referred to as the “Holiday Tree”.

Even after the Fitzwalkerstan Cult tried to pass legislation calling the Holiday Tree the “Christmas Tree” and failed, Walker has gone ahead and renamed it to be called the “Christmas Tree” for his extremist theocratic base behind everyone’s back.  Maybe he will demand Bill O’Reilly to lick his boots.

Does Walker realize that you can spell Satan with the same letters in Santa? The tree will be decorated with ornaments submitted by the state’s school children.  That could provide for some interesting contributions. The deadline is December 1, 2011 for teachers and children to send their ornaments honoring 163 years of Wisconsin’s Veterans theme to:
